A considered way to put your wishes in writing.
We help you organise your instructions and prepare a written will document around the wishes you provide. Before you order, you will be told what is included, how the service works and what to expect from delivery.
Your instructions, prepared into a document for review.
A will records your wishes about how your estate should be dealt with after your death. The first step is to understand what you want to include and whether your requirements fit the service offered.
We gather the instructions required for the agreed work, prepare a draft and give you an opportunity to check the details and raise questions within the included review arrangements.
We do not promise that every circumstance can be handled by a standard will-writing service. Where specialist advice is needed, we will explain the limitation before accepting the work.
Start with the details that shape your wishes.
The final scope depends on your instructions and the service confirmed before payment.
Understanding your circumstances
Discuss your requirements and gather the information needed to prepare the agreed document. Only information relevant to the service should be requested.
Executors and beneficiaries
Record the people you wish to appoint as executors and the people or organisations you intend to benefit, where these provisions fit the agreed scope.
Gifts and estate distribution
Set out instructions for specified gifts and the distribution of the remainder of your estate, subject to the service's scope and suitability for your circumstances.
Draft preparation and review
Prepare a draft from your confirmed instructions and provide one included round of amendments, subject to the review period and scope stated below.
A clear deliverable and a defined next step.
The standard service is structured around a written document delivered electronically. Paper copies or other arrangements are not included unless expressly agreed in writing before payment.
Your requirements are discussed remotely by telephone or video, as arranged and confirmed with you before the order proceeds.
A draft will prepared from the information and instructions you have confirmed.
One consolidated round of amendments is included when you submit your feedback within 7 calendar days of receiving the draft. New instructions or substantial changes may fall outside the included scope.
The final document is supplied as an electronic PDF by email. Printed copies, physical delivery, storage of an original signed will and witnessing services are not included in the standard fee.
The proposed standard target is 5 working days after cleared payment and receipt of all information needed to prepare the document. If clarification is needed or the instructions fall outside the standard scope, the revised timetable will be agreed with you.
Know the price before you proceed.

The displayed prices are intended to be the total consumer prices for the standard service. Before payment, the order confirmation will state the actual total payable and any legally applicable tax treatment. The standard fee does not include paper copies, postage, storage of original documents, additional amendment rounds or work outside the agreed scope. These items will only be charged where applicable and expressly agreed with you beforehand.
Clear arrangements from payment to delivery.
The following conditions explain the intended standard process. Your order confirmation must set out the specific service, total price, delivery estimate and any agreed variation.
Consultation arrangements
Consultation is arranged remotely by telephone or video, as agreed with you. The method and appointment arrangements will be confirmed before the order proceeds. An enquiry form alone does not book a consultation or confirm acceptance of an order.
Payment and commencement
Before payment, you will receive the service description, total price, included work, delivery method, estimated timeframe and applicable cancellation information. Work ordinarily begins after payment has cleared and all information needed to prepare the document has been received.
Delivery target
The standard target is 5 working days from cleared payment and receipt of all required instructions. The target may need to be revised if information is missing, clarification is required or your request is outside the standard scope. We will tell you about a material change and agree the next steps.
Amendments and feedback
One consolidated amendment round is included. Please submit your feedback within 7 calendar days of receiving the draft. The included round covers amendments within the original agreed instructions, not unlimited redrafting or new requirements. If further work is requested, we will explain the proposed fee and obtain your agreement before proceeding.
Additional charges
Additional charges may apply only where the work is outside the agreed standard service and you have agreed the charge in advance. Examples include:
- Substantial new instructions after drafting has begun;
- Additional amendment rounds beyond the included round;
- Complex provisions or circumstances requiring a separately agreed service;
- Any separately requested paper copy, postage or expedited arrangement, if offered.
No optional extra should be added to your order without your agreement.
Changes to the timetable
The delivery target assumes that instructions are complete and any questions can be resolved promptly. If we need further information, the timetable may pause while we await your response. We will communicate any material delay and confirm a revised expectation where possible.
Cancellation and early commencement
For eligible distance service contracts, consumers generally have a 14-day cancellation period. We will provide the applicable cancellation information before the order is concluded. If you want work to begin during that period, we will obtain a separate, explicit request and any legally required acknowledgement before starting early. Payment alone is not treated as a request to begin early or as a waiver of statutory rights.
If you cancel after expressly requesting early commencement, any amount due for work already performed will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law. Where a service has been fully performed, any loss of the cancellation right applies only where the relevant legal conditions have been met.
Service area
This standard service is intended for straightforward wills governed by the law of England and Wales. We do not present this service as suitable for wills governed by Scottish law or Northern Ireland law. If your circumstances, assets or intended arrangements involve another jurisdiction, tell us before ordering so we can assess whether the request is suitable.
From first enquiry to final document.
The order proceeds only after the service and its conditions have been explained. You remain responsible for checking the draft and completing the applicable signing formalities.

Receive the draft, submit the included amendment round within the review period and receive the final PDF by email.
Know when another kind of advice may be needed.
A standard will-writing service is not appropriate for every family, financial or legal situation.
Situations requiring specialist advice
Trust arrangements, complex business or agricultural assets, overseas property, substantial cross-border issues, disputed family circumstances or complex tax planning may require specialist advice. We may decline work that falls outside the service's capabilities.
Capacity, pressure or disagreement
If there are concerns about a person's ability to give instructions, possible undue influence, coercion or a dispute about the intended arrangements, the matter may be unsuitable for this standard service and may require independent legal advice.
Signing and witnessing
The standard service supplies a document; it does not itself complete signing or witnessing. For England and Wales, the applicable formal requirements must be followed. See the official guidance on making a will legally valid ↗.
No guarantee of outcome
We prepare the document from the instructions and information provided within the agreed scope. We do not guarantee that a will will be suitable for every future circumstance or prevent all future disputes.

Review the practical arrangements before deciding whether to proceed.
Ask a question ↗What is included in the advertised price?
The standard fee includes the agreed remote consultation arrangement, preparation of the draft from your confirmed instructions, one amendment round and delivery of the final PDF by email. The exact scope and total price will be confirmed before payment.
When does the delivery period begin?
The proposed standard target is 5 working days after payment has cleared and all required instructions have been received. If information is missing or the request needs additional assessment, we will explain the impact on timing.
What if I want more changes?
One consolidated amendment round is included when feedback is provided within 7 calendar days of receiving the draft. New instructions, substantial changes or further rounds may require a separate quote. We will obtain your agreement before undertaking chargeable additional work.
Will I receive a printed will?
The standard deliverable is an electronic PDF sent by email. A paper copy or postage is not included unless a separate arrangement is expressly confirmed before payment.
Can I cancel after paying?
Where the contract qualifies as a distance service contract, a 14-day cancellation period will generally apply. The applicable terms will be supplied before you order. If you expressly request work to start during that period, the legal treatment of work already performed depends on the circumstances and applicable consumer law.
Do you cover Scotland or Northern Ireland?
The standard service described here is intended for straightforward wills governed by the law of England and Wales. Please contact us before ordering if your circumstances or intended will involve another jurisdiction. We will not imply that this standard service is suitable where it has not been assessed.
Does the final PDF mean the will is legally complete?
No. The document must be signed and witnessed in accordance with the applicable formalities. Read the instructions supplied with the document carefully and seek independent legal advice if you are unsure how the rules apply to you.
Begin with a clear understanding of what you need.
